Qatar Leadership Center (QLC)

The Executive Master’s in Leadership – Qatar (EML-Q) is a graduate program launched by the Centre in May 2018. Offered in partnership with Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, it is exclusively available to QLC’s National Leadership Programs Alumni. This one-year program integrates practical management skills, leadership theory, and policy to empower participants to drive positive change in their organizations. Graduates receive a Master’s degree from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington D.C., becoming part of the university's global alumni network of over 200,000.

Requirements:

Admission Requirements:

1. English proficiency is required for eligibility to apply to the EMLQ Program.

2. All eligible students must complete the joint QLC/GU admission application.

3. Applicants are required to pay an application fee of 300 Qatari Riyals.

4. Applicants must submit the following background information:

   1. A personal statement outlining the reasons for applying to EMLQ and how they think the program will help refine their leadership skills.

   2. Verified academic transcripts, which at a minimum show satisfactory completion of a Baccalaureate degree. Although we do not specify a minimum GPA, performance in previous academic programs carries significant weight in applicant’s qualifications. 7. A resume detailing current and previous employment experiences.
