Doha Institute for Graduate Studies

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) was founded in Qatar in 2015 as a Doha-based independent institution of higher education. The Institute offers MA and PhD programs in two schools: the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Economics, Administration and Public Policy. The Institute adopts a student-centered approach to learning, promotes interdisciplinary research, and uses Arabic as the primary language of instruction, with fluency in English a requirement. DI aims to graduate researchers and practitioners who can advance knowledge and better the human condition, while upholding the highest scientific, professional, and ethical standards. It provides advanced leadership-focused training that emphasizes the competencies necessary to satisfy the region’s needs in sustainable development and intellectual advancement. Requirements:

1. Fill in the application form in full, with all the required and supporting documents

2. Copy of official identification (Passport for International students - Qatari ID for citizens and residents of Qatar).

3. A bachelor's degree certified by official authorities.

4. Undergraduate transcripts certified by official authorities including all transferred courses if any. Senior-year students submit their latest transcripts.

5. A minimum of TWO references from academics familiar with the applicant's work requested via the online application form. An additional letter of recommendation may be submitted by a supervisor from previous employment.

6. Submit a valid minimum IELTS academic score 5.5 or TOFEL iBt score of 59.

7. All official transcripts should be translated in Arabic or English.
