The University of Calgary in Qatar is the only nursing program in Qatar. This distinction drives our commitment to advancing nursing as a profession in this country, enhancing the practice of nursing through academic excellence and workforce development, and increasing the number of nurses to work to full scope in health teams to meet the complex health needs of Qatar. We will continue to be advocates for making changes to a health system based on these needs and a national and global strategy for skilled health human nursing resources.

Requirements:

Official secondary school transcript must be submitted. A transcript is an academic record of the subjects completed and grades received, as issued by an examining board, high school, college or university.
Direct admission to the Bachelor of Nursing, Regular Track is competitive and requires the completion of the following Grade 12 courses:
English, Math, Biology*. Chemistry, One Option Course
*Based on Qatari curriculum, Biology course must be advanced.
All transcripts in a language other than English must be accompanied by official English translations. The document in the original language and the English translation must be submitted together at the same time.
